Due to a new sales strategy, Bausch + Lomb wanted to develop an interactive contact lens detail aid that sales reps would love to use and would pique the doctors’ interest with every call.
I worked alongside their agency to design an app prototype with optimal content display and customizable message flow.
The final interactive prototype had a profit calculator, interactive data graphs and elements, and a library of supportive resources and documents.
The main screen of the app was designed to start conversation by providing sales reps and doctors with a selection of quickly digestible information to help start conversation about contact lens. Reps could begin with videos and facts, or dive into more detailed data and other documents.
The app also had a selection of tools such as a profit calculator and habit profiler to help doctors’ determine whether supplying or prescribing the line of contact lens would be in their best interest. Finally, additional materials, such as in-office promotional products and videos, were compiled into a “resource library” where doctor’s were given the option to request and order materials.
