In my art, I like to explore the tension between what we see and what lies beneath the surface by creating a balance of precision and unpredictability. My technique reflects daily life: there are some things we can control, and some which need to run their own course.

Mirrors is a self portrait painted during a time of great change to illustrate the determination and power that come through when a person is faced with difficulties.
