Photographic Print and Acrylic on Canvas
In my art, I like to explore the tension between what we see and what lies beneath the surface by creating a balance of precision and unpredictability. My technique reflects daily life: there are some things we can control, and some which need to run their own course.
This pieces depicts the struggles, both seen and unseen, that lurk behind our individual victories. I chose to combine photography and painting in order to blend what exists with what I felt when I viewed this sculpture at the Louvre.
